Anyway, back to Christmas of 2010...
This was our third Christmas together, our second Christmas as a married couple.
Sadly, I don't have a picture of our first Christmas together. I bet my mom does, I'll have to check into that.
We spent our time with both of our families and it was wonderful. Here are some activities that we enjoyed over the break:
- Eating lots of yummy tangerines
- playing at Flip's gym
- Spending Christmas Eve and part of Christmas day with P's mom and sister
- Playing Blockus and Scrabble Slap with Momma Phyllis and Jen
- Enjoying Christmas day with extended family, acting out the nativity, eating tons of yummy food
- hanging out in our sweats till sometimes 4pm in the afternoon
- sleeping in, working out in the mornings
- watching Temple Grandin, a true story about an amazing autistic woman. If you haven't seen it RENT IT! It will not disappoint and it can be found at Redbox. Oh and it's PG so it's super clean and great to watch with the fam
- Receiving a wedding band for my wedding ring for Christmas!
- Not doing any homework!
- Reading Mockingjay and finally finishing up that series
- Reading The Help, I loved this book
- Making Indian food for our family
- Finding our camera that we lost over a year ago, it's debatable who is responsible for losing it, but P found it in his jacket pocket, so you do the math :)
- Starting new traditions--Christmas book and Christmas tree ornament
- Celebrating the birth of our Savior
It was such a great break and it was really needed for P. He's worked really hard this last semester, taking 15 credits, working and doing an internship!
The only downside to the break was towards the end when I came down with a sore throat and then the flu. I haven't had the flu since forever but man, it is terrible. Ugh, hopefully it won't come again anytime soon.
We had our annual Taco Bash for New Years and ended the night with games and karaoke. We spent New Years day eating yummy Korean food that Momma Phyllis prepared.
All in all it was a relaxing and wonderful break.
Although it looks like Grandma is wearing a snuggie, she actually not. She showing off our Christmas present to her, a new house coat.

My cute dad. Turns out that he is also super strong, I guess his 5:30 AM (yikes, I don't know how he does it!) weight lifting sessions are really paying off!

You guys take the cutest pictures! And I loved all the editing you did, no wonder your blog is so much cuter than ours! haha I'm so lazy!mGlad you guys had a good Christmas! We still need to get together and do a double date sometime!
Looks like such a fun Christmas break! I also loved Mockingjay and The Help was incredible. So happy you got a wedding band--I want one so bad and Marcus always jokes that I can get it when we've been married 20 years... :)
