This summer we will be going back to ARKANSAS! P will be doing an internship with General Mills! Who would have thought we would be so lucky to spend another summer there?! (just kidding, it's not that bad out there in Arkansas, just far from family, and not much to do)
Combined with P's hard work, intelligence and charm (mostly hard work and intelligence), he received eight offers for internships this summer! I am very proud of his determination to succeed and to provide for our family. It was a hard decision to make because this will most likely be his last chance to do an internship before he graduates. Therefore, we wanted to choose a company we could see P working for after graduation. He will be doing strategy and consulting, something that he's wanted to experience in an internship so that's another reason why we wanted to take this one.
We both felt best about General Mills, well beside the fact that it means we will be back in Arkansas. I'm not too thrilled to go back, but it could be worse :) We will be living in a city about 15 minutes north of where we lived last summer. We're actually living in a better city this time so I'm excited about that.
Megan, if you're reading this, can we be friends again this summer? And this time around I'll be living closer to you, plus I'll have a car so we can hang out more than once!
We will leave in June and come back in August.

Ok, how random that P will be doing two internships in Arkansas but for different companies haha. Yes, we will have to hang out this summer...I'll be having a baby so I may be a little out of it though!
What a great opportunity, but we will miss you guys. General Mills-does that mean you get free cereal for life?! We should hang out before you guys leave. You need to come by and see little baby Jaxon.

Ha so you probably don't remember me but I'm Rachel's friend...Missy...ha! Anyway. Congrats to your hubby! Sounds like a smarty pants! One of my husband's job offers was from Walmart and we were a little frightened to end up in Arkansas, but it sounds like you've made the best of it! ALSO, my husband is a consultant...so if for some reason your husband has any questions about anything (in the real job hunt, etc), feel free to email me and I'll put him in touch with Mike (my husband).
