Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
I am so grateful for my family and friends. I feel so blessed to have a loving family. Thanks mom for having us over for dinner on Saturday night. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures, but she had a wonderful meal, a beautiful table and handmade cards for each of us! So special and so sweet. And my mom is not usually a card-making/scrap-booking kind of gal so these cards were really something special! My sweet brother Matt also had cards for each one of us and they were so thoughtful, thanks Matt!
P and I celebrated Valentine's on Friday since Mondays are busy for him. I made dinner for us at home and he had flowers and a card for me. P's NOT a gift person, so this was big for him. I have to admit that I told him ahead of time he better have flowers and a card. Yes I realize it's kind of demanding of me and not really romantic to tell him he better provide me with flowers and a card, but a girls got to be happy and gifts make me happy! Obviously we're not the same love language :) But that is a whole other story, ha! Just trying to keep it real here on this blog!
our little V-day set up
I do love this boy though! And I'm grateful he's my Valentine forever!
Side Note:yesterday (Feb. 13th) marked two years since P proposed, time flies!

Anyway, I'm off to babysit two adorable twins, so their parents can enjoy a night out on the town.

Cute picture of the two of you! Yay for P getting you flowers and a card! I love what you said about love languages--so true!
I LOVE that you told P you wanted flowers and a card. Sometimes you just have to help them understand what you want right? I don't see anything wrong with that--it's just being good at communicating! hah. Love ya! Glad you had a good one.
cards are the best! You two look so happy! Love ya jess!
