Also, thanks for the concern about our no AC situation. We do have one small unit in our window in our bedroom (didn't want you to think that we are completely without AC). But since we pay electricity we don't like to run it all day. We do run it at night for a bit before we go to sleep, then turn it off and keep our fan on all night - we do have a fan.
I had to laugh today (although the other night I threw a fit about it. At least this time around I chose to laugh, right?) when we were attempting to kill another bee that snuck into our apartment. During the evening hours we keep our front door wide open and the fan outside our door in an attempt to blow the cool, outside air into our apartment.
Well this wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have a bee house right outside our door. There is a tiny hole in the bricks outside of our apartment. These smart bees have made their home inside this tiny hole and therefore they are flying in and out of the hole all day long. Well when we have our door open some of the bees end up in our apartment. Those little guys buzz so fast once they get inside our apartment, and it then becomes a game for us to find them and kill them. Well P does the killing, I'm good with my eyes and can usually spot them. Oh what a fun game to play every evening!
Here's a picture of the hole, which you can't really see because there is a bee covering it in this photo. And if you're wondering why there is duct tape around the hole, that would be because P thought he'd take matters into his own hands and attempt to close up their hole. So he put duct tape over the hole (I knew all along that this would not stop them, bees are smart!). After one day the bees had eaten through the duct tape! The bees definitely won the first round, but round two will include chemical warfare, as P put it, so hopefully he'll will that one!
In other news, P heard back today from some companies that he's really been wanting to interview with. Very exciting! But stressful for him as he now has to prepare for the interviews. I'm sure that he will be grateful when this interviewing process is all over, although his favorite thing to do is look for jobs, so maybe he won't be happy that it's over.
I also tried Zumba the other day for the first time and I loved it! I'm addicted, does anyone who lives in Provo go? I'd love to go with you, I need a buddy.
I think that's all for now, the iron has been hot and waiting for me for the last 10 minutes so I better go do my "wifely duties" (aka- iron the husband some dress pants to wear tomorrow).
