We were planning on spending New Year's Eve in Utah with the Wall fam but unfortunately we had to stay in California because P's internship made him work the day of New Year's Eve and tickets were pricey. We were so sad to miss the annual Taco Bash and Talent Show, and even more so this year because it was happening at the Cabin. But Aunt Marge and Steve were so nice to invite us over to their house to have tacos, they live in Arcadia. It was fun, and I was just grateful to be with some family on this holiday. Steve took us to see Colorado Ave (the street that the Rose Parade comes down), it was already full with people, crazy people too. He was also able to get us a sneak peak at some of the floats, we saw a couple coming down the street, getting ready to line up for the parade. It was a fun adventure.

So amazing that they are all made out of flowers!

Later that night we went over to Jason and Kasee's apartment. They are also from BYU and Jason is doing the same internship as P, so we have become good friends with them. They're so fun to hang out with and we're so grateful that they are here in Cali with us! We watched the ball drop on T.V., saw JLo's performance (what the heck was she wearing! She looked horrible!) also saw Dick Clark on the show, had no clue that he had a stroke (we had to wikipedia to find out), then we toasted with some Martinelli's and called it a night. All in all, it was a good New Year's but hopefully next year we'll be back at the Taco Bash!
